Approaching "Away"

This work virtually shares my experience taking part in cleaning out littered trash from the trailhead of the Salado Creek park. This experience strengthened my commitment to generating positive outcomes through my engagement with the environment, specifically a place where many locals would consider to be their “away”. The work functions as a wall projection on an altered surface. Each iteration of the work is anticipated to be distinctive, featuring the application of adobe mud on a wall that serves as the projection surface for the video installation.
