"Away"

This installation piece examines the issue of waste accumulation and disposal. The piece explores how an "out of sight, out of mind" attitude contributes to careless discarding practices. When things are thrown “away”, they continue to exist elsewhere outside of our own view, but evermore present in our environment. This work features what I imagine my personal version of “away” would look like.
